If that is the issue, it seems to me that it would be much easier to either take an earlier NTE-CDG flight (the KE flight ex-CDG leaves at 9pm so there are honestly plenty of flight possibilities) or go via AMS (flight leaving at 6pm), from which KE does fly too.
