Just stayed here. Lobby is redone, volume of the space reminds me a bit of the HR Chicago though the vibe is quite different. Gone is the casual sports themed bar replaced with a freestanding bar in what was the dining room, with a bar lounge on one side, and the dining room on the other. Sbucks also located in the lobby along with a small market that does sell sandwiches and salads.

Halls and all guest rooms have been gutted. The awkward alcove leading to the bathroom has been incorporated into the bathroom itself, producing a good sized bathroom with a large "L" shaped vanity with ample sitting room on one leg of the "L", with the sink on the other side.

Soft goods in the rooms are nice. For the nitpickers, the guest room doors should have been refinished, but I doubt most will find them bothersome.

R/C is very small, seating perhaps 15. Host is very cordial, and seems to be well connected if you need restaurant reservations. Was surprised that Lox was not offered for breakfast service, this might be the first R/C lounge I've seen without it.

Workout area is outsourced to a local health club and is excellent. Parking in the attached, but independently owned ramp with I/O privileges was $17.

Property is at the end of the pedestrian mall, but still an easy walk to a number of restaurants, bars, and a Target.

Not an aspirational property, but a decent metro convention property.
