Just got back from a wonderful 7 night stay at the IC Thalasso which was a bargain at 30K Priority Club points per night.

Thankfully we were upgraded to an Emerald OWB on check-in without having to ask (or pay) and had Villa 105 for the duration of our stay. Incredible to be able to go swimming right off your front deck in the famous clear blue Bora Bora lagoon.

The jetski experience was excellent fun, though a little hairy at times down the exposed south of the island as it was very windy and the waves made for a bumpy ride. Quite pricey at 27,000 XPF but a great way to circle the island.

We also got the Concierge at IC Thalasso to book a daytrip over to Le Meridien to visit the Bora Bora Turtle Centre. We used one of the resort kayaks to paddle over (it's a 15 minute leisurely trip) and went to the front desk to pay the 5,000 XPF per person (which includes 3,000 XPF in food credit). It was great to see the sea turtle conservation efforts and learn more about them (apparently they grow up carnivores and end up being vegetarian).

Dinner at La Villa Mahana was another highlight with great food and a unique setting making for a nice change to the resorts two restaurants.
