When I had to do this, a temporary drivers license on paper was perfectly accepted at all TSA stations that I went through.

They never asked anything other than that except for the TSA at JAN. They said if I had anything with a photo on it. All I had was a Costco card which has that grainy old picture on the back, and that was good enough for them.
