I have a couple friends coming along that have no status and will need to check a bag, will they have to pay $25 for YEG-DEN than another $25 from DEN-LAS? Or since it's just a layover will the $25 for the whole way suffice?

I'm assuming just like other US airports I need to go grab my bags than go through security again?

Anywhere good to eat in the airport(Restaurant)?

Thanks in advance.
Almost every trip I take from YEG to US goes through DEN, but I dont have to pay for bags, so cant help there.

You do customs in YEG, so dont have to collect & recheck bags. (Only exception to this I can think of is the midnight flight to IAH, which leaves after US CBP have gone home).

There are a few options for food, its OK, although "good" might be a subjective thing...
