As each one of us boarded with the MVP's etc, the system beeped and indicated to the GA that the seats were already occupied, and in my case and the others, those people had boarded just ahead of us.

The GA was lost as to how this could happened because the system apparently dropped us as though we never got on the flight in Newark. In fact, in my case, a stand-by had been given my seat (2D). The flight, as always, was full but fortunately the GA found seats for all of us - however, quite a few were left at the gate as their stand-by numbers were further down the list.

The GA was curious as to how a stand-by could have been given my seat (and likely the others) when it was clear we all were on previous flights and had not canceled. I suggested that perhaps the GA's in Newark hadn't done something they should have to indicate we were on the EWR-SEA flight but who knows. Maybe someone here can answer.
AS's system has a rare but serious glitch that occasionally causes one to be un-checked-in from a connecting flight. I have lost two F seats and been put back in Y because of this glitch.
