staying at the Omni next to the Convention Center. I'm not planning to rent a car. Are there any great transfer options other than a cab? There seems to be a train service
If you get to the Omni, it's VERY easy to use the train to get to Fort Worth.
Red or
Blue light rail (stop right at the convention center) to Union Station (next stop westbound), transfer to abovemenitoned TRE. About one hour to Fort Worth. Service runs fairly frequently during rush hour, otherwise about every hour and a half; not at all on Sunday. You can buy an all day pass for $10 (unless prices went up) good for both trains.
