A far, far cry from the days of BF EWR/IAH-HNL service (until 2003 or so, with amenity kits and all). Even from 2008-2012 the service was the same as the EWR-West Coast transcons.
Actually, that's not exactly true.

I read a trip report on a.net for J on EWR-HNL sometime between 2009 and 2010 and they served PIE for dessert on the flight -- no sundaes, and the other components to the meals were very sub-par.
