Thanks everyone for your comments and advice. We can't change our flight, Air France only have a few flights a day to Paris, the one after the one we've been assigned to would miss the connection to SGN. Odd they have a 8 hour gap between flights!

I was reluctant to head into Paris because, from asking the question on Trip Advisor, it seemed a 7 hour wait would only allow an hour in Paris once you factor in all the travelling time and going back through security. I agree sitting in any airport lounge for 7 hours will be a nightmare but what can we do? I guess we will see what happens when we get there ( hope our flight from Edi is delayed!) and if the main lounge isn't up to scratch, consider paying some money for the nicer one.

Has anyone been in the paid lounge? Is it worth the money?
