Hello All -

I recently was approved for and received the United Mileage Plus Explorer Card (up to 65,000 miles + $50 statement credit with 50,000 miles posting after your first purchase). My first purchase on the card was made about a week ago and I was wondering if anyone knew about how long it will take for the 50,000 miles to post to my account. Has anyone had any experience with this card?

Also - I am going to be booking a one way flight to SE ASIA for 32,000 miles through the United website. I had read somewhere that you can use United airline miles on other star alliance partners - do I do this through the United website or directly through the partners website? Is it possible to find a partner airline to SE Asia for less than 32,000 UA miles one way?
