The problem is that they have no way of modiying a room description by day of the week so it will generally say something like this (random suburban Marriott):

Closed: Weekends

And yep, there is an upcharge for this on a Saturday night, no idea why.
there are ways to have a different rate for weekend concierge rooms....hate to say it but folks are being lazy (most hotels would typically not offer their concierge rooms on weekends but those that do I'm certain don't think about it...I've seen a lot of full service Hilton's doing the same thing...this is certainly on my pet peeve list)
