IIRC - these seats were never desirable from the beginning. The issue is that DL, and others, went 6 wide while carriers like CO went 5 wide - this made for 18.5" wide seats.

I know I avoided the 767 on all carriers that had 6 wide. At the time the DC10 with the huge lounge chairs was way better.
