If you're going from LHR T5, go LHR-MAN on BA and take the train (1 hr) across to Leeds. From LHR T1 take the former BMI flight (now with BA code number) to MAN.
If you're in central London, just take the train (from London Kings Cross), which is approx 2 hr 15 mins journey. Just make sure to book in advance otherwise it's very expensive.
