Unfortunately this is no longer the easy option it used to be

Firstly there is no F service from London to MRU on BA anymore.

Secondly the BA flight also now leaves from LGW as opposed to LHR, so you would need to transfer airports

Thirdly, as there is no longer any F reward seats, getting J rewards is nigh on impossible, so I suspect your chances of getting F seats from SFO that match up with J seats from LGW and back would be pretty much nil, esp over the summer months, when leisure travel will be at a peak.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news but its better than getting your hopes up I guess.

Your best bet may well be to book WT+ seats and then hope to upgrade the various legs with Avios, at least on the MRU leg, if you can get F flights from SFO

As Henky states the figures you quote are for One way only, you will need double the miles (and cash) for a return trip.
