I'm flying tomorrow morning from MCO-DTW-MCI, and want to create a gap between my flights large enough to go attend a meeting... There looks to be plenty of available options flight wise from DTW to MCI in the timeline that I'm going to be back / done from the meeting.

However, I've never tried SDC in the middle of a leg, only with the entire leg.

Should I expect any issues? Anything specific I need to do different?

(I will have a bag checked, but don't care that it arrives and waits for me in MCI.)
