So on the LAN board the answer is LAN, and on the Iberia board the answer is Iberia. No surprises there then You've learnt something about Flyertalk but not so much about the relative merits of LA versus IB.

I haven't flown IB in years so am not qualified to offer a comparison. But I have flown LAN in both Y and J and found both to compare very favourably with other airlines' offerings. I'd be very surprised if IB were significantly better.
