Please Note: Statue Cruises is the only authorized transportation concessioner at the Statue of Liberty. Private vessels are prohibited from docking.

If you do a google search for photography, tripod, and statute of liberty you will return a number of links to photography websites and discussion boards that state that tripods either may not be taken onto the island (because of size) or if allowed may subject you to NPS paperwork and fees for commercial photography. You should probably contact the NPS as earlier advised by Landing Gear.
