I have an upcoming flight booked on American. On my return I connect in LAX and have just over an hour layover to connect to the direct LAX-ANC flight on AS.
It's certainly possible to make but how much over an hour to connect will determine if it is a legal connection. Are you on separate tickets? If so, the standard warnings would seem to apply.
