I think there is room for posts for everything BA. It's the BAEC forum, not limited to any one class.

I read threads that are of interest to me and ignore those those that aren't.

I'm sure that some people avidly await trip reports from certain posters and are grateful for a heads up. (Of course some readers may be avidly awaiting a trip report so that they can snicker at the pernicketyness of it! )

If I'm not interested in the fact that someone has posted a trip report I just ignore the thread and move on to the next.

I don't understand the need to complain about a thread's existence. If it is of no interest to you, move on and leave it for those who find it interesting or useful or both.
