I think that a very simple component of F has been missed here - and that is a lot about traveling F is about privacy and 'being left alone'.

This therefore clearly answers the question posed - who are all these F travellers!!!! I think that you are very unlikely to find out too much them although CEO's, celebs and the like would of course spring to mind.

14 seats only and remember some routes do not even offer F - the number of people regularly at the very front is tiny and gets even smaller as you start only looking at those who will pay for F (there are increasing numbers of Op-Up's/Avios redemptions etc). BA of course know the exact numbers but they aren't going to be telling you any time soon! Also of course there is the aspirational quality of a cabin above J which many airlines have abandoned.

When you are talking 1,000's for a ticket in F you can see why one might expect a vastly superior service - even compared to J where there can often be a large differential in terms of cost.

There is a lot posted about F but I think that for nearly everyone it is still a treat or exception - there are very, very few people for whom this will be the norm.
