I've never been to LAX before and I don't have a lot of time to waste making my connection on Friday so I'm looking for recommendations on the quickest way to get from terminal 4 to terminal 2. I've been looking at the maps and it looks like there is a cut-through on the lower level that goes across the "horseshoe" from terminal 4 to terminal 3. Is this the quickest way to get to terminal 2 from terminal 4? Also I've heard that you have to go through security again when changing terminals even if you take the shuttle, is that still true?
