If I do a miles + copay to upgrade will I get any class of bonus for miles? It is a 2 class flight (ORD-DUB), so I would be going from deep discount to first.

In addition, if I decided to go for a platinum challenge with the miles + copay upgrade would I get the full EQP? Or would the EQP still be based on my deep discount fare?
