The selling, buying, or barter of DL miles violates the T&C for the DL FF program. In other words, this violates DL's rules that you agreed to when opening the account. The penalty could be cancellation of her ticket and your account, including forfeiting miles and other benefits such as vouchers.

Do you want to risk this, especially for a redemption which is worth at most two cents per mile?

Can she fly into CDG and take the train to Brest? Must she leave from State College, versus PHL or even ABE? Harrisburg? Newark? These options might lower the fare.
