Being a higher score, your chances of opups will be higher, but don't expect them to be automatic. I have been GGL for 3 years and I have had 3 op ups in that time: to LAX, HKG and DXB. I'm a fairly low rent GGL, and don't see a lot of Special Services although they have occasionally met me in the lounge to say hi. The useful benefits are the annual benefits of being able to use redemption when not normally available (in First when A class is available in CW when D class is available). There are now two of these allowed in your GGL year (not the same as your EC year, strangely). You are also allowed two guests into the F lounge
