I said I have absolutely no problem with and even support:
1) enforcement of size of carry-ons
2) enforcement of number of carry-on pieces
What I do have a problem with is strict enforcement of weight limits without applying common sense. I don´t see how asking me to separate one piece of hand baggage into two when the rollaboard is slightly overweight makes any sense, it actually increases the problem of limited overhead bin space.
I´m pretty sure most rollaboards with a laptop inside slightly exceed the weight limit and I don´t think asking/encouraging pax to bring onboard two pieces instead of one piece is in anyone´s interest.
