Yes as mentioned the title is Inflight business manager, should not have line manager on their badge.

Yes they are a new name for Crew Managers or MCS.

There are now more of them and they fly with their CSDs, Pursers and sometimes with a group of main crew that they manage. They also have to fly to keep recent on an aircraft that they are trained on.

If they are trained on an aircraft they can fly on the aircraft as part of the crew but they usually wear a red cravat or tie when on the flight ( so as not to undermine the in charge crew member) but on aircraft they are not trained to fly on, they travel as a passenger and monitor from their seat.

They are the same for all the fleets at LHR now so you could see them on E/F, WW or M/F. On E/F and WW they manage CSDs, Pursers and teams of main crew. On M/F they manage the CSMs, who each have a team of main crew themselves.
