GoAmtrak, I don't think anyone is saying that more sophisticated fare management is a problem. It is just a change. While certainly I would like to pay lower fares, I applaud amtrak for utilizing fare management to maximize their revenue. Increasing revenues for amtrak will ensure its long term success, which is something hopefully all of us can agree is a good thing. (ie, the long term success of amtrak).
