So maybe it was a backlog. UA's been having tons of IT problems since the merger, so it's quite possible it didn't show up until a sweep happened. I'm flying home on Friday so I'll be curious to see if it changes.

One thought I had was my outbound routing was a one way Y ticket booked in Q attached to the rest of the ticket (Z EWR-NRT-ICN, D ICN-SFO and then A SFO-BWI). My travel agent did it that way to avoid making the whole ticket nonrefundable but still ticketed it under one PNR and one ticket number. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. UA had no problems processing it though and that was all smooth.

I upgraded into F on the way home. This may sound silly, but US's system is smart enough to know that my way home was originally booked in D and won't post it as O (technically ON), right?
