Sorry to put a dampener on this but EWR-DFW-PDX would generate 120 TPs in First. Each sector is less than 2,000 miles so 60 each. If you could find an option EWR-LAX (or somewhere else in excess of 2,000 miles from EWR)-PDX then you'd generate 210+60 each way.

Each AA sector (provided it's a different flight number) generates its own TPs. If >2,000 miles per sector in F it's 210, otherwise it's 60.
