Was upgraded the other day from DFW to LAS using stickers - when I chose "Request Upgrade" on My Reservation, it only showed needing two stickers/person but when the stickers were deducted from the account, they took 3/person.
I know that the flight mileage is 1055 but I figured they rounded down one sticker because it was so close to 1000. Shouldn't the upgrade request have shown 3 instead of 2? Anyone else seen this before?
Interest error if it showed needing two stickers since you were correctly charged the three stickers. The buffer is 51 miles so you were just four miles outside of that.
1 sticker: 0-551 mi
2 stickers: 552-1051 mi
3 stickers: 1052-1551 mi

You could always contact AAdvantage customer service and explain that it displayed needing two stickers but you were charged three. As a courtesy they may refund you the extra sticker.
