If so, then it sounds a bit odd to me that there should be such a big price discrepancy. One possible explanation is point of sale differences, whereby BA was booking you in W class because T was sold out, but Expedia could see T class availability because it was looking in another country.
Interesting comment about different class availability in different countries. I had just assumed fare class availability was linked to some kind of global reservation system and as soon as 1 fare sold out, it moved onto the next.
