After having had Air France change our flight times from Paris to HCM City, we are now lumbered with a 7 hour wait at the airport after arriving in from Edinburgh. Air France won't offer us any lounge access as compensation to the flight change so I'm trying to figure out our options. We don't want to go into Paris so it will just be a case of making the best we can of our time in the terminal.

We arrive at 1220 and are due to depart again at 1915, both flights arrive into and depart from Terminal 2e. What is the main lounge area like? Can we go out of this terminal to others if they have more facilitiies? Does 2e have free wifi? I've also been considering paying for lounge access but it looks like it will cost us 50 euros each. Can anyone advise what the paying lounge is like? While I am a Flying Blue member, I'm on the lowest bracket as we don't fly often and it's generally economy. This time we have paid more for premium economy but I don't think that will get us a free pass into the lounge area.

Any advice would be good. I fear our return journey may also see us stuck in 2e for many hours as the connection is very tight but I'll worry about that when it happens!
