Generally breaks it for me...

Was a whole week in Fiji where there rain let up for maybe one day. The only saving grace was that I unexpectedly met some acquaintances from Europe staying at the same hotel which saved me from boredom.

The weather on my first (and only) trip to New York was also terrible (cold/rainy) and on the same trip, I went to Montreal, where the weather was perfect. I walked away with a great impression of Montreal, while New York was kinda so-so. I have no doubt that the weather played a factor in this.

I probably wouldn't complain about other stuff more (like a hotel) because of weather factors (I still thought our hotel in Fiji was great), but it absolutely (and probably unfairly) affects my enjoyment and impression of somewhere.
