Actually, you should pay attention to what you post - you linked to a story about a single positive metric for a single month.
You stated, "AA's business plan is working just fine.....actually outperforming its competitors who went thru chapter 11 and subsequently merged."
The only data point to back this up was an article from The Washington Post that contained the single positive data point:
"AMR Corp., which is operating while under bankruptcy protection, said Friday that revenue per mile that every seat flew increased 7.3 percent in May. The company credited solid demand, rising prices and fewer empty seats on international flights."
