And it was 65K per person. Most of the legs were two flights, changing in SIN or BKK or NRT. I saw options for Saver Economy on UA, SQ, NH, OZ, and TG for various legs.

Sorry . I thought I was pretty explicit about the time and condition in my first post.
But here is what I'm trying to do again.
I am planning at the end of the year (Dec - Jan) to visit both Hong Kong and Taiwan, and I'm flying from SFO.
My idea plan is to go to Taiwan first, stay for a few days, then go to Hong Kong, stay a few days, return back to Taiwan for yet another few days, then back to SFO. Prefer all direct flights.
SFO -> TPE -> HKG -> TPE -> SFO
But while doing award travel search on United/ANA, I had to use multiple city search, but only able to get 80k instead of normal round trip of 65k.
So I am trying to figure out if I can do
1) SFO -> TPE -> HKG -> TPE -> SFO
Get this with 65k, and stop in the 3 cities for a few days.
or
2) SFO -> TPE -> HKG -> SFO or SFO -> HKG -> TPE -> SFO
Get this with 65k, and stop the 2 cities for a few days
Obviously I prefer #1, but I can't seemed to get it for 65k. That's why I'm trying to ask if there is a way I can do this. Since when I tried Kayak to price SFO -> TPE -> HKG -> SFO, I get back results SFO - > TPE -> HKG -> TPE -> SFO (Says the return from HKG to SFO has 1 stop at TPE). This is with EVA airline.
Thanks
