I disagree with this. If you are referring to the larger triangle pattern (pointing right) made up of the smaller designs, i think you can see it as kind of a trippy fractal design.

It's organic and tribal all at the same time. Cool stuff! By not completing the pattern it actually becomes more interesting and arty!
I have no issues with the part of the pattern between the tan/blue/tan stripes.
But look above the top tan/blue/tan stripe (in the light gray area) and below the bottom tan/blue/tan stripe (in the dark blue area). That should either be solid and flat the entire way across, or the pattern should be completed. As it stands now, it looks like there was a pattern there but 3/4 of the triangles that were placed there have fallen off.
That makes it look old and tattered!
