On my flight from JFK to LHR a couple days back a New Yorker had his wife and grandson (I presume) sat somewhere in the back whilst he sat in First. After breakfast his grandson came up front for a quick drink. After a couple hours the New Yorker switched seats with his wife who only left just prior to afternoon tea being served. I didn't notice the wife being served any drinks whilst she was up-front.

His behaviour going through immigration at LHR was appalling, shouting at the black Immigration Officer who had asked if he had a letter of authority to bring the child to the UK. After some shouting and very strong language he called her a 'slave' - the Senior IO came over as well as one or two others in support. He and his 2 companions were moved to allow the rest of us to pass.
