Wow, that's not good. How long have you had the bag and how much are you using it. I don't think that should come off before 5-7 years. I've had a dry suit for sailing and the zippers were similar (even more waterproof, of course). The rubber never came off and that thing saw way tougher duty than carry-on bag.
I wonder if that is a common occurrence and whether TB will replace those free of charge.

It happens on both my Tri-Star and the Western Flyer. I've had both bags for about 3 years now. I use the Western Flyer almost every day for work and my regular travel. The Tri-Star gets use only on the longer trips.
I wonder now if others have also experienced this, or maybe I'm too rough of a bag handler?
