I am planning a trip at the end of the year, and I'm trying to figure out how I can utilize my United points for that. I had always booked SFO <-> HKG and never had any problems doing that. But this time would like to visit both Hong Kong and Taiwan and maximize my points.

In order of preference from the United award check:

#1) SFO -> TPE -> HKG -> SFO (65k miles)
or
#2) SFO -> HKG -> TPE -> SFO (65k miles)
or
#3) SFO > TPE -> HKG -> TPE ->SFO (80k miles)

I tried to look at both United/ANA award booking, but can't see any direct flights between all the cities. When I try to book #1 on Kayak, I got the following

SFO > TPE -> HKG -> TPE ->SFO with EVA.

I actually don't mind this, but I am afraid that this will cost 80k miles instead of 65k miles when I tried to book using award miles.

So my questions are:
1. Is it possible to get #1 with all direct flight? If so, which airlines I can choose?
2. Is it possible to get #2 with all direct flight? If so, which airlines I can choose?
3. Is it possible to get #3 with 65k miles redemption?
