I recently bought a D class biz fare with AA, flown on BA metal from IAH to LHR.

Does anyone know if I can upgrade it using Avios to F?

I called AA last week and the first assistant said 'yes, 35,000 miles', but had system problems so I said I would call back later. The next day, I spoke to another assistant who said it was not possible to upgrade AA fares flown on oneworld tin not operated by AA.

Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks so much everyone!
