Nobody really wants them for the same reasons, neither for lease nor for sale. AC was an opportunity, but it didn't work out unfortunately.
I thought that Delta at one time was interested in these ac since they also fly them. But with their 747 reconfiguration and the volatile conditions in the industry, they have become very conservative in growing the long haul fleet.
These 77L would work lovely across the Pacific if Delta opened Melbourne and Auckland.
Have any other airlines shown interest?
