I've been here 2 nights out of a 4 night AXON award stay so far. It's been pretty disappointing as a Gold. I was "upgraded" to a 2nd floor room that looks over the courtyard. No exec floor upgrade available (I've checked every morning). And my 3 interactions with front desk staff have all been subpar. Nothing egregious, but each time I waited between 5-15 minutes as they took care of a problem for one guest while the queue grew restless. No acknowledgement or apology for the lengthy waits, and it's quite frustrating that this has happened each time. Also, make sure you bring the right kind of outlet adapter. I have an older style one that doesn't fit into the new recessed, grounded outlets, so I've resorted to charging my phone and batteries in the bathroom (probably a fire hazard) than pay the 8E for the one that the hotel supplies in the minibar.
Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs has been quite good though. There's a small market nearby for picking up groceries, and a laundromat an easy walk from here - for any cheapskates like me.
