I flew this route in CE a couple of weeks ago, and the food and service were very good with 2 excellent cabin crew serving CE, and we did get drinks before our meal ^.
My inbound flight was into LCY and again the service was very good, with the only 2 cabin crew on the flight both serving the CE cabin with drinks first, and then the meal before going through the curtain into ET.
