Another train buff here. I'm looking forward to using the Gautrain soon and have a couple of questions for the SA experts.

1. According to this: http://www.gautrain.co.za/contents/c...ckguide_A4.pdf
it seems that travelling from Park Station, we need to change at Sandton (or Marlboro) for JNB. Is that right?

2. I see the dubious dual pricing schemes:
- Park to Sandton: 21 ZAR
- Park to Pretoria: 46 ZAR
- Park to JNB: 115 ZAR
- Sandton to JNB: 105 ZAR

Not worth bothering about for a single journey, but is there a workaround for regular users to avoid the JNB toll? [Yes, I'm familiar with other ripoffs such as the LHR Hoppa.]

3. I haven't yet booked hotels. Which of these is recommended for access by Gautrain for 2 adults with baggage?
- IC Sandton (or other IHG hotel)
- Hilton Sandton
- CP Rosebank

Thanks for advice.
