If you check Groupon and KGB deals France or Spain (simply change dot com to dot fr or dot es) you may be able to buy some vouchers upfront to help.

Madrid is more possible imo
Last time I was in Paris it was nearly 10Euro just for a beer!
Or go to the supermarket. 10euro/person is enough to do groceries and cook something for lunch and dinner (assuming OP is going to a hostel with kitchen facilities).

IMO the best part of Paris is taking the long walks around the town rather than just going to museums....
