Wow. Is it possible that they just have an opinion that differs from yours?

People value different things from airlines. You have your nose in the air when you're served a drink from a cart in F or J. Others don't care.

I really like AA, but I have had occasions while flying them when I'd rather have been on AC. I didn't, for example, enjoy being encouraged to clap for the several "heroes" on board one AA flight who were returning from killing people (possibly innocents in some cases given the fiasco that it was) in Iraq having been sent there to start a war based on a pack of lies about weapons of mass destruction. But that was just me. I've had very good flights on AA, too, and I've had a couple on AC where I was less than impressed with my employer or my colleagues.

AC, given Aeroplan policies, is definitely not going to be the airline of choice for people whose lives are all about collecting FF miles and who fly back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth to places they don't need to go except that they want to gather miles or status, and who spend their every waking moment on FT posting pictures of the napkin holder in the club and the paper towel dispenser in the gate area restroom etc. AC isn't the airline for you. It might just be different for some other people. That doesn't make them ignorant and/or in denial.
