Hi everybody. I am planning a trip from BRU to Dallas and have no status with Oneworld. For convenience I am thinking of flying BA but I am horrified at the YQ rates, so i am thinking maybe it would be a good idea to claim points on a newly open AA account, provided AA doesn't charge YQ on award ticket. is that a good idea? I would appreciate any advice or comments.
