I share a lot of your thoughts though. There are a couple of posters who do just post links to their blogs and disappear, some don't even come back to answer comments. That's not on if you ask me.
I'm also with you on people posting 'coming soon' threads. One recent one had several pages of comments and the trip hadn't even started yet.
Everyone has to remember though that there is no set formula for a trip report and everyone's style is different. For some, it might be their first report and their effort should be appreciated.
