Like someone said before, the 20K extra miles used to travel in O over Y is well worth it. The ride in the back is not really something you would get used to it. On landing your airport roller-coasted ride begins with huge lines in immigration for X, then the baggage claim market where there are more 'agents' than fliers to get you through customs for $20, give you the best cab ride, etc while people almost standing on the luggage belt.
