Good point, that's how I usually get to Canary Wharf, I should know that! It's one of the faster tube lines but also seems to have weekend closures more often.

I have now booked a stay to try the place for 3 or 6 nights.

I booked them as two separate 3 night bookings given the comments/warnings in the recent thread here about "dynamic" FS pricing. This will allow me to postpone deciding whether to keep or cancel the second three nights as late as the middle of my first stay.
